Science Behind Stress And What To Do About It

The Science Behind Stress and What To Do About it January 20th, 2022

Stress is an inevitable part of life, whether it's in the classroom or the home environment. A 2021 Ipsos poll showed that 49% of Canadians have experienced stress and depression levels over the past year that classify them as being "high risk" on a Mental Health Risk Index. Luckily, there is a wealth of research that indicates that we can control the impact of stress resulting in increased well-being both for ourselves and  our students.

Join us on January 20th, as we explore the physiology of stress and the benefits of mindfulness practice. You'll come away with practical solutions for stress management and an understanding of how self-awareness impacts the prepared environment.

Mathematics: Why our Mathematics Area is Perfect for the First Plane Child February 4th – 5th, 2022
