This is a permanent full- time Montessori Guide position beginning immediately for the 2026-2027 school year.

Requirements:

• Must have AMI or MACTE Accredited Casa Montessori Diploma.
• RECE certification in good standing is considered an asset.
• Current Standard First Aid, CPR and AED Level C (required).
• Current up to date immunization record or Statement of Conscience (required).

Responsibilities:

• Complete individual weekly plans, record keeping, progress reports and required documents per the school and regulations.
• Provide collaborative support to the children and families of the classroom.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, well prepared, complete and attractive Montessori environment, including routine care and maintenance of classroom materials

Remuneration & Hours of Work:

• Hours of work are Monday to Friday scheduled between the hours of 7:15am and 5:30pm with some after hour requirements as needed (e.g. staff meetings, school social).
• A three-month probation beginning at the start of employment will be in effect.

The Opportunity

Young Children’s Community (YCC) / Lead Guide

La Villa Montessori School is seeking a Young Children’s Community (YCC) assistant who will fill the Lead Guide position after shadowing the current guide for a period of one year.
